I am so confused. We have one trustee clearly stealing and yet we have another one collecting her paycheck. The latter was convicted which will be overturned. Anybody got questions for our elected officials?
West Lafayette inexplicably chose to tear up Salisbury last November, removing the turn lanes, leading to traffic backups at Lindberg Road. Had there been crews ready to complete that work in April it might have made some sense, but right now there appears to be no active work to finish the Salisbury project, nor does it seem like that work would return the turn lanes anyway...and now they're going to route more traffic onto Salisbury. I mean, yeah, the official detour is into Lafayette, but WL residents are unlikely to drive over to Lafayette to get around within WL.
I'm actually in favor of the Salisbury project - calming traffic flow there is a good thing for the neighborhoods. But having that project and the CSO project going on in parallel seems like it'll make getting around town pretty annoying for quite a while.
